Problem:
Cresco Healthcare's model depends on giving patients a single, trustworthy place to book diagnostic tests across a panel of NABL-accredited partner labs, get home sample collection, and receive results digitally — without the friction of queues, paperwork, or chasing a lab directly for reports. Delivering that required a platform that worked equally well as a website (for booking, browsing packages, and reviewing reports) and as a mobile app (for patients who wanted the same experience on the go), without duplicating logic or creating inconsistent experiences between the two. The existing setup couldn't scale with a growing user base, and usability gaps on both sides were holding back adoption.
Solution:
Latent built Cresco Healthcare's platform end to end across web and mobile:
- Multi-lab test booking — patients search by city and test, choose from Cresco's panel of NABL-accredited partner hospital labs, and book individual tests or bundled packages (Cresco Standard, Cresco Essential, Family Health Checkup, and more).
- Home sample collection & order tracking — end-to-end order management from booking through sample pickup to report delivery, viewable from the same account on web or mobile.
- Digital reports & EMR access — test results and electronic medical records available with one click, replacing physical report collection.
- Cross-platform mobile app — a React Native app sharing a single codebase across Android and iOS, kept in sync with the web platform's booking, orders, and reports functionality.
- Full redesign for scale — a usability and UI overhaul addressing performance and stability issues that had been limiting the platform as its user base grew.
Impact:
The redesigned web and mobile platform gave Cresco Healthcare a consistent, reliable booking experience across every touchpoint a patient might use — website, Android, or iOS — backed by a shared React Native codebase that made ongoing updates faster and cheaper to maintain than running separate native apps. It led to higher user engagement and satisfaction, strengthened Cresco's position within Pune's diagnostic services market, and gave the business a platform built to support continued growth rather than hold it back.
