Problem:
Xplore Health Technologies had secured exclusive Indian rights to CardiacSense — an FDA-approved, clinically validated medical watch for continuous ECG and arrhythmia monitoring — but launching a regulated medical device direct-to-consumer in India is a different challenge from launching a typical wearable. The website had to do three jobs at once: educate a non-clinical buyer on genuinely technical claims (99% sensitivity/specificity AFib detection, opto-mechanical sensors, artifact-free ECG), build enough clinical credibility to support a premium price point, and convert that trust into pre-orders and purchases — without the flashy, feature-first design language most consumer wearable sites use, which would undercut the medical positioning.
Solution:
Latent designed and built the CardiacSense India website end to end as a combined product-education and e-commerce platform:
- Clinical credibility architecture — dedicated Science, Applications, and Downloads sections presenting FDA clearance, clinical trial accuracy data, and doctor/specialist testimonials alongside the product, not buried in a PDF.
- Feature-led product storytelling — a structured breakdown of every monitored vital (ECG, AFib, heart rate, core temperature, blood pressure, respiratory rate, SpO2, activity) built to explain medical capability to a non-clinical buyer.
- Integrated e-commerce & pre-order flow — direct purchase and pre-order functionality for the watch, chip, and accessories product lines, with account login for order management.
- Analytics-driven optimization — on-site behavior tracking to understand where prospective buyers dropped off between product education and purchase, feeding iterative design and content changes.
- SEO foundation — technical and on-page SEO to build organic visibility for a genuinely new product category in the Indian market, where search demand had to be built, not just captured.
Impact:
The redesigned site gave Xplore Health Technologies a credible, conversion-ready storefront for a product category with almost no existing Indian search demand or buyer familiarity — a materially harder positioning problem than a typical D2C wearable launch. Site engagement and inbound purchase inquiries increased following launch, and the clearer information architecture around clinical data and doctor endorsements gave the sales team a stronger tool for a considered, high-trust purchase decision rather than an impulse buy.
Key Outcomes:
- Full e-commerce and product-education website built and launched for CardiacSense India
- Dedicated clinical-credibility content (FDA clearance, accuracy data, doctor testimonials) built into the core purchase journey
- Integrated pre-order/purchase flow across the Watch, Chip, and Accessories product lines
- Analytics implementation used to iteratively improve the education-to-purchase funnel
- SEO foundation built for a new-to-India product category
