Problem:
Independent fitness coaches and trainers looking to run a real online coaching business faced a fragmented tooling problem: getting client tracking, workout and nutrition programming, scheduling, payments, and community engagement typically meant stitching together five or six separate paid tools, each charging per user. That drove overhead costs up as a coach's client base grew, made day-to-day business management inefficient, and left coaches without a real brand of their own — just a patchwork of third-party apps carrying someone else's logo.
Solution:
Latent built Fitqii end to end — website, iOS and Android apps, and backend — as a single platform for fitness professionals to run their entire coaching business:
- Client-facing app — video coaching, workout plans and an exercise library, nutrition plans and a nutrition library, body composition and fat calculators, weekly summaries, and integrations with Google Fit, Apple Health, and Strava.
- Trainer dashboard — direct and group messaging, session scheduling, a workout and nutrition plan builder, activity and progress trackers, weekly goals management, and in-app payments.
- Business tools — a lead management system, customer and app analytics, and email/push notification automation, giving coaches real visibility into their business, not just their clients' workouts.
- White-label capability — on Fitqii's Business tier, fully custom-branded apps with a custom backend and API integration for coaching businesses running at scale, not just solo trainers.
- Custom website — a marketing and conversion site built alongside the product, positioning Fitqii directly against established international competitors like Trainerize.
Impact:
Fitqii shipped as a complete, working alternative to the multi-tool stack coaches were relying on before — one subscription instead of five or six, with a coach's own brand on it instead of someone else's. The platform now serves coaches across strength and conditioning, yoga, and nutrition, including established names like Ironman triathlete and coach Abhishek Avhad, and offers tiered pricing from solo coaches managing a handful of clients up to full white-labelled deployments for coaching businesses running at scale. For Fitqii, it meant a real, differentiated product in a category with established competitors, rather than another undifferentiated fitness app.
Key Outcomes:
- Full platform built end to end: website, iOS/Android apps for coaches and clients, and backend
- Consolidated five-to-six-tool coaching stack into a single subscription product
- White-label tier shipped for coaching businesses running multiple trainers at scale
- Deep third-party integrations: Google Fit, Apple Health, Strava, in-app payments
- Positioned and marketed directly against established competitors like Trainerize
