Problem:

The client, a renowned Indian spiritual leader with millions of followers had an audience, a message, and a vision, but no product and no monetization engine. Traditional channels like in-person events and gatherings proved insufficient, particularly as digital engagement became the norm. The challenge was translating idea-level clarity into a real, scalable digital business. Without the right product strategy, technical architecture, and execution ownership, the risk of building the wrong thing or building nothing at all was high.


Solution:

Latent took end-to-end ownership from ideation through delivery. The engagement began with product strategy, defining what to build, what not to build, and how to sequence the work. From there, the managed pod designed the app concept, UX, and technical architecture before writing a line of code. The team built and launched a mobile application featuring guided meditations, personalized content recommendations based on mood and spiritual interests, and a community forum. A subscription and premium content monetization model was designed into the product from the start, not retrofitted later.


Impact:

Monkify launched as a live product and crossed $1M ARR, validating both the product concept and the monetization model. The engagement marked a fundamental transition: from a content creator with a large following to the founder of a scalable digital platform business. The managed teams model made this possible providing not just engineering execution but full product ownership across strategy, design, build, and go-to-market alignment.
